LEARNING ABOUT CELLS

Today and yesterday I learned about cells. Tomorrow I think I'll learn about cells also. There's something in the cell that's the brain of the cell called the nucleus. Then there's a small ball in there called the nucleolus. And then there's a jelly substance called cytoplasm that holds everything and it's like you can still see things but it's like water and gel mixed. Mitochondria is the powerhouse -- it gives all the power to the cell. The endoplasmic reticulum is like a transporter. The golgi sends stuff out. There's a rough endoplasmic reticulum and a soft one. One of them has bumps on it and the other has none of that stuff. The lysosome is like the stomach of the cell. The cell membrane is like what protects it and what goes in and out like a bodyguard. It lets water and blood come in and all the rest of the stuff not come in. There's almost a cell for everything. I didn't learn about blood cells. But I did learn about liver cells! When you get hurt, the nucleus thinks and goes up to the brain and tells it OW,and then it comes back and tell you to say OW! Like, when we were doing our project and my blister popped, I said OW because the cells went back with the brain and told me to say OW because it hurt. My teacher is learning about it and my brother was learning about it. I'm a third grader and I'm learning about college stuff so that's kind of weird. Cells also pump oxygen. Your body is made all out of cells. Bye bye! The End.

GOING TO THE STINKY CHEESE MAN WRITER

I went to a field trip with my class to an author named Jon Scieszki. My school has a program that you can get a book from him and then he signs it right in front of you to you in person, face to face!

MY PLAYDATE

My friend Grace and me had a playdate. It was fun. We played DS and Kinect. We went outside, went to our friend Garrett's house and Nicole's house, and her brother was fun, too. And after she drove me to the house and I showed her a book and my laptop and she said, "Cool!" The End.

JAZZ ALLEY

Jazz Alley was really cool. I saw Sugar Blue. But we left a little early because I was tired. I liked the bass guitarist. She was good. And it's a good place to go and you should go there. It has good desserts. Bye Bye!

MY CHRISTMAS

On my Christmas,my stocking was stuffed really high. A few of the presents that I got were a laptop, a one-of-kind-doll, and I like adopted some animal creature. It's called a Pulzalski Horse. And I had so much fun! And I got a gardening kit. Bye bye!

THE BRAVE LEAF

When me and my mom were driving to my brother's school, a leaf got caught on our windowshield. And it stayed there for the whole time! And then I got it off the windowshield! I brought it into the car. My mom took a picture. And then I showed my brother the leaf. That's why it's called the Brave Leaf!

That is some awesome squirrels!

4th OF JULY

Yesterday was the 4th of July. I had fun. My brother's friend came over. And I couldn't go to the fireworks because it was too cloudy. I was watching the fireworks on TV in D.C. They exploded with passion! Haha! Explode! Hahahaha!

So yesterday I went to my dad's work and I made a bongo. The things that I used in the bongo are a soda can saying Orange on it and some paper towels and some tape and some markers. So I drank a whole soda and my dad took off the tab. I got a piece of paper towel, folded it in half, taped it onto it, over, and then started, like, putting a bunch of tape all different directions but don't press it down or it will be ruined. But first you need to start on the edges and then you start going all different directions until it feels like cardboard and then tap on it. And then just start coloring on it. I mean the top. And then after once you do that, you can get a string of paper and wrap it around the parts you didn't put with paper towel. You can do the same thing with another can and you can attach them and it's like a super bongo! The End, yo!

POPTHOMOLOGY

My mom has a website. It's called Popthomology. And she does really good work on it. Today is my mom's friend's birthday. And I am very excited about it and so is she. I have a story to tell you. Today I had a friend at my school have a birthday. Well, do you want to know something weird? At my school there are worker men and they are making a new playground for me. And one of the worker mans screwed up the wall. So. He had two bricks on each side and a gap in the middle and he put one on top of the middle not like in the middle middle but like on top of it so it could like stay and they had to like go over there and pick the brick up. That must be really tiring. What do you think about that? Oh yeah! We're supposed to be talking about Popthomology! I'm sorry, viewers! I just didn't know. Well, back onto this. Um. My mom's website is very very very good. Now YOU should go on it! Yeah YOU! OK. My mom is very nice. And today the color of her shirt is orange, red, and white. Today I had Girl Scouts and I won a prize. It is a colored bandanna and a doll shirt. And I have something very exciting to tell you. I had a play yesterday. And there was um like Lemonade singers and what Lemonade singers are people that sing about the things that happen to the characters. And my favorite character was Humpty Dumpty. The End.

ABRAHAM LINCOLN

I don't know what Abraham Lincoln is. When I was 5 I thought he was a ham. With a giant hat. But now, I haven't seen how tall he is, I bet he's really tall like 7 feet or something. Do you know what'd be weird? If Abraham Lincoln only had 3 toes -- his big toe, his middle toe, and his pinky toe. That would be weird. Heh heh. That is all. I will see you in a giant hat. The End.
