I think it's a good thing that you do not have a Christmas tree. They are either incredibly messy or ugly to look at. How about a Christmas plant? A nice little plant that you could pop on the window sill and look over at and admire, never getting in anyone's way. And then when you're done with Christmas you can pick it up and throw it in the trash. Easy.
What about a Christmas rug? That would actually be useful. Nice to walk on and you can sit on it while you unwrap your presents. You wouldn't even know it was there really. I think that is what I will be doing this year. Christmas rug.
